Hello, and welcome to Camp Arizona. This has been a great adventure for me over the past decade plus. Camp Arizona was started simply because I could not find adequate information out on the internet back in 2004 about camping in our great state. I began to explore the different hot spots for camping and posted my images and videos on the website. Pretty quickly I began to see a lot of visitors and then I knew I was on to something so I started going out every other week or so and eventually I had compiled a pretty good list of campgrounds with much better information than I could find online. On each of my outings, I had my trusty companion Sienna with me. She sort of became my mascot and was always out greeting other campers and scouting out the local wildlife (especially skunks). Sienna didn’t figure those guys for quite some time and was on the wrong end of those stinky guys 4 or 5 times.

So, as this project grew and I became a father in 2005 to the coolest kid on the planet, things slowed down after a couple years but I continued to add quite a bit of content over the years. One of my favorite additions is our exclusive 360 campsite panoramas. You can check out each individual campsite in full 360 and check to see if there are tables, fire pits, charcoal grills and whether or not you might be too close to the restrooms and even check to see if the campsite is flat or how much shade is in each site. I took some time and several of the campground concessionaires allowed me to enter the campgrounds before they were opened to the public and shoot 360 degree panoramas of each campsite at each campground in some of the most popular camping areas in the state. I have added panoramas for many of the campgrounds from Sedona and Prescott all the way over to the Mogollon Rim and even into the White Mountains.
You can occasionally check us out on FOX 10 morning show as we do a few segments each year about camping in Arizona.
So, thanks for using this site, I do my best to keep things up to date and keep it free to use. let me know if there is anything missing or incorrect, I don’t always get updates from the forest service or the local concessionaires about changes to campgrounds. I count on input from you and those who enjoy camping as much as I do.
Drop me an email at chris@camparizona.com if you have something new or just need to ask a question.
Thanks,
Chris Fabri
